Migration and Distribution Chenliu: In the 26th year of Emperor Zheng of Qin (221 BC), Chenliu County was established. In the Han Dynasty, Chenliu Commandery was established, which is in the present-day Kaifeng area of Henan Province. Jincheng: In the 6th year of Yuanshi in the Han Dynasty (81 BC), Jincheng Commandery was established, which is equivalent to the area west of Lanzhou in Gansu Province and east of Qinghai Lake in Qinghai Province. Its administrative seat was in Yunwu (northwest of Yongjing County, Gansu Province). During the Daye period of the Sui Dynasty and the Tianbao and Zhide periods of the Tang Dynasty, Lanzhou was also renamed Jincheng Commandery.
