Yang Jian, Yang Guang Yang Yuhuan (Concubine Yang) Yang Xingmi (852–905), courtesy name Huayuan, was the founding monarch of the Wu State in the Five Dynasties. He was from Hefei, Luzhou. In his youth, he was a bandit and occupied Luzhou. Emperor Zhaozong of the Tang Dynasty appointed him as the Jiedushi (military governor) of Huainan and enfeoffed him as the King of Wu. He had control over the areas of Huainan and Jiangdong and reigned for fifteen years. Later, when his son Yang Pu declared himself emperor, Yang Xingmi was posthumously honored as Emperor Taizu Wu. Yang Ye was from Taiyuan in the Song Dynasty. Initially, he served the Northern Han Dynasty. He was a brave and skilled warrior and was given the surname Liu and the name Jiye. After the fall of the Northern Han Dynasty, he surrendered to the Song Dynasty and was appointed as the governor of Daizhou. Yang Xiuqing (?-1856), originally named Silong, was from Guiping, Guangxi in the Qing Dynasty. Because he became sworn brothers with Hong Xiuquan, he changed his name to Xiuqing.
