Fan Kuai (? - 189 BC) A native of Peixian County in the Western Han Dynasty. He made a living by killing dogs in his youth. He joined Liu Bang's uprising. At the Hongmen Banquet, Xiang Yu intended to kill Liu Bang, but Fan Kuai scolded Xiang Yu face to face. He was promoted to the left prime minister and was granted the title of Marquis of Wuyang for his military achievements. Fan Yujizhi The exact dates of his birth and death are unknown. He was a general of the Qin State during the Warring States period. He fled to the Yan State to avoid punishment and was sheltered by Prince Dan of Yan. Later, because Jing Ke wanted to assassinate the King of Qin for Prince Dan and needed his head to enter the Qin State, he committed suicide by cutting his own throat.
