"Xiao" has the following origins: 1. It comes from the Zi surname and is named after the state. According to "Fengsu Tongyi" and "Yuanhe Xingzuan", after Weizi of the State of Song in the Zhou Dynasty, Le Shu Daxin, who had made great contributions, was enfeoffed in Xiao and established a vassal state of Song. Xiao Shi A legendary figure from the Spring and Autumn Period. He was good at playing the flute, and the sound of his flute playing resembled the cry of a phoenix. Duke Mu of Qin married his daughter Nongyu to Xiao Shi. They built a phoenix tower, and Xiao Shi taught Nongyu to play the flute. Their music moved the phoenixes to come and gather.
