Pang Juan A general of the State of Wei during the Warring States period, he studied the art of war under Guiguzi with Sun Bin. Out of jealousy of Sun Bin's ability, he had Sun Bin's feet cut off. Later, when the States of Wei and Qi were at war, Sun Bin served as a general of the State of Qi and trapped Pang Juan at Maling. Finding himself at the end of his wits, Pang Juan committed suicide by slitting his throat. (He was not shot dead by Sun Bin.)
